About Us

Turf and Scapes, Inc. was founded in 2000 by Mike Palmer. Mike has a degree in Civil Engineering and worked as a Civil Engineer specializing in Drainage and Site Development for the first decade of his career. Following a passion for landscaping and drawing on his engineering training working with landscape architects, Mike decided to make a career change and set about learning the additional components of landscape design. He was successful and Turf & Scapes, Inc. was born. Though the company offers a full array of services, the small company feel still prevails. Mike does his own design work and oversees the completion of all projects.
